Step inside pansy, and you’re met with a bouquet of pastel colours - we’re a shop with handpicked & thoughtfully designed colourful things created by our favourite women owned & led design studios, makers and artists from around the world. With artworks, ceramics, zines, prints, homewares and more. If you’re looking for a pick-me-up gift for that special someone - or a little treat for yourself, of course! pansy’s your spot.
Upstairs is where we host our cosy creative workshops. Maybe you’ve always dreamed of making your own set of ceramic cups. Come over to pansy and join in one of our workshops, we can’t wait to meet you!
Hello, my name is Alina. The pansy behind pansy. I’m originally from sunny Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia and relocated to the Netherlands in the summer of 2018.
I’m a visual artist and especially love printmaking, illustration, ceramics, and sharing my work through collaborative projects, exhibitions, and designing collections. Running a space like pansy has always been a dream of mine - to share and celebrate work from fellow independent female makers.
You’ll find me at pansy behind the counter or working in the studio painting a new collection or building some vases from clay. Come by for a chat and cup of tea - I’d love to meet you!
