Studio Amsel is a one-woman and three cats operation led by me, Maria, a self-proclaimed lover of all cats (big, small and chonky) who happens to draw and sculpt them a lot. After working as a prop master in the film industry for a decade, last year I packed up all my books, old trinkets and very chubby catsand moved into a seventeenth century canal house, embarking full-time on this whimsical journey of weaving together a universe of color, childhood memories and feline best friends. And my favorite part is: I get to share it all with the world.

Wendy Denissen lives and works in Amsterdam and has a degree in illustration and more than 10 years of experience as a designer. They love the dynamics of city life and it inspires them every day.
