welcome to sparkly season at pansy!
It’s our first year open for the holiday season and we couldn’t be more excited! Usually the six weeks to the lead up to Christmas are called the “golden weeks” where many shops and independent retailers will be making majority of the annual income, and we are undoubtedly part of that.
Personally speaking I am a fan of gifts (both giving and receiving them) but I also know that this time of year can be challenging for many people (especially financially) we want to emphasise that as much as we are a business and retail space to be selling things to make this season extra special for you and your loved ones, we are also here to create and cultivate a warm, welcoming, creative space for you (where or not you decide to spend with us!) You are always welcome in for a chat and a cuppa at pansy :)
We love to emphasise that gifts are always better handmade and lovingly & ethically created - which is why our entire shop is curated from other women-owned studios, independent artists & designers 🙌🏼 or spending precious quality time creating together through experiences (whether through one of our new workshops or DIY at-home ceramic pansy packs)

We are joining forces with our beautiful community and neighbourhood of shopkeepers and entrepreneurs of the Czaar Peter Kwartier to extend opening hours for a few late night shopping events! Come and visit us on Thursday 1 December until 9.00pm, and Friday 23 December until 9.00pm. We will of course offer gift wrapping, warm drinks for you, and help you pick out nifty gifts for your loved ones! 🎁
Our favourite seasonal DIY ceramic bauble painting kit - it includes 4 colours, your choice of two bauble shapes, as well the firing and handling service at pansy. The fired result is a colourful, precious, treasured bauble to keep for many many years ahead. I can’t wait to paint my own bauble this year and for my friends. I’m going to make one with our little family: Bobo, Lina and Ginger :) 🐶
Our best-sellers for creative souls or eager beavers dipping their toes into the ceramics world. We have two types of pansy packs: ceramic making or ceramic painting. Our packs include everything you need to complete your ceramics at home, and include firing in our hard-working kiln. They make super sweet gifts or craft evenings together! Have a peep at our new pansy packs with multiple objects, perfect for sharing together! 🎨
Our first in-house pop up event! We’re teaming up with our good friends Bodil Jane, Sarah Van Der Wilk, and Studio Daphne Zuilhof to bring to you a super twinkly and sparkly shopping weekend from Thursday 15 - Saturday 17 December. Join us on 16 Friday evening from 5.00pm for a special borrel celebration! 🥂
Our 2023 workshops for January, February, and March are now live and ready for booking! If you’d like to gift a workshop experience to a loved one, our gift vouchers are available online (digital voucher) or in store (physical voucher) they’re the perfect gift if you don’t know which dates or workshop they’d like to pick. 💌
We have a handful of ceramic bauble painting workshops which are a short and sweet 1.5 hours to cheer up your cold dark evenings with some glazing & gluwine. All creations from the workshops will be fired in our kiln and ready for pick up before the 23rd of December - just in time to hang onto your tree or decorate your home with! 🎄
We are offering complimentary domestic delivery for orders over €75. Pansy is still a tiny business, which means absorbing delivery costs can be quite costly, and it can be difficult to compete with large retailers who offer super fast & free shipping. By shopping small you are putting your money towards creativity, and our small growing business - thank you! 📫
