i wanted to organise something small to enjoy and celebrate with you ✂️🎈🥳
when i think of new years i think of very loud repetitive chinese music, driving around visiting every temple in the region, the smell of a lot of incense, decorating the house with fruits, flowers, tying fake apricot blossoms to tree branches, and setting up a big shrine in front of the house 🙏
through this time i can see my mum's generous love for flowers, ornaments, decorations, symmetry, offerings, and dingly dangly noisy things☺️
for thursday 23, friday 24, and saturday 25 january during our opening hours i want to share that with you too!
pop in between 11:00 - 5:00, and make an ornamental sticker for your new years shrine, fruit, vegetable or window 🍊💕
(please note we have workshops happening on saturday, so capacity is limited in our studio)
