pansy is moving!
Hello 2022!
Pansy has big news - we’re moving to a bigger space! Although I adore my tiny shop and studio, it’s time for pansy to upgrade to a slightly bigger location where we can continue to grow and flourish, serving you and making weird and wonderful events, workshops, and more!
I’ll be sharing the transition and renovation journey on instagram stories, and excited to welcome you in closer to February!

Where is the new space?
The new space is on the same street as current pansy! The exact address is Czaar Peterstraat 68. It’s about 80 metres further away, which means the move will be very convenient and I’ll still stick around Czaar Peter Kwartier!
When will workshops start again?
Unfortunately the Netherlands is still currently in lockdown which means we aren’t able to gather together in groups. I’m also hoping to release a new program of ceramic and creative workshops by the end of February. What was in the space before?
The previous shop was run by lovely MARCHA who creates and designs her own line of clothing. Unfortunately she moved out due to Corona, but has an online store coming soon!
Why did you move to a bigger space?
After two years of working in and loving the current Pansy space, I’m quickly outgrowing it and hoping to expand the shop, workshop area, and studio space.
Every day I am trying to find more storage to store pansy packs, packaging materials, shelf space to display new beautiful creations from other makers, and I’d love to host bigger workshops!
What are your plans for big pansy?
I’m really excited about a new and improved workshop space which will be located in the upstairs area; with big windows for lots of daylight, more space for you to spread out and feel comfortable, a big table for creating. I’m also hoping to host and facilitate more events, artist talks, opening events in the space. My personal studio will be separated from the workshop space which will give me more focus and energy to keep creating personal work too!
What’s going to happen with the little pansy space?
I’ll officially be leaving the Czaar Peterstraat 104 location by the end of February 2022. It will be empty and available for rent. If you are an (especially female and/or BIPOC) entrepreneur and dreamed of having your own shop, please reach out - I’d love to help you transition into the space.
When will you open?
It depends how quickly we can get the new space looking fresh, cute and colourful! I’m hoping for mid or end of February to welcome you in with a celebratory grand opening! We didn’t get to have a grand opening for little pansy, so it will be extra extra special!
Are you still renting from the same landlord?
Yes, unfortunately so! I rent from Eigen Haard, one of the biggest social housing corporations in the Netherlands who have not been very kind to us throughout the pandemic, so getting any kind of communication & assistance from them has been a tough fight, so I’m really grateful to be able to move into this space.
