EVELYN TAN: 5 different die-cut sticker designs, made from vinyl (waterproof)

  • Big Strawberry Energy

  • Happy Pink Flower

  • Red Vase

  • I Love Handmade things

  • Cute Things For Nice People

About the exhibition
We invited some of our favourite artists and makers from around the world to create works inspired by their own interpretations or feelings around ‘nostalgia’ ✨ from our childhood & teenagehood which may bring up sparkly memories of lava lamps, tamagotchis, the smell of lunchboxes, trips to stationery stores, sandwiches, summer mornings, your fave stuffed animal, flip phones and so much more!

We are avid sticker lovers at pansy, so it felt fitting to put all these feelings into a medium that is immediate, heartwarming, accessible, cute and fun. We invite you to take a journey back to your inner self, bring back some precious memories, with simple gestures of swapping, sticking, sharing 🩷

About the artist
Evelyn Tan is a Vancouver artist currently based in Los Angeles. Her narratives stem from dreams, memory, and fable, chasing nostalgia whilst exploring a coming of age. This often takes the form of hybrid mark–making methods including graphite, ink, digital rendering, and paint. The resulting sanctuaries are meticulous, glassy, and dreamlike, and often present dynamic situations of irony through a lens of girlhood and adulthood.
