About the artist
Hi! Iām Roos. I create paintings in which I fuse my inner child and adult self. This resulted from my burnout, in which I entirely lost myself. During that time, I began searching for my own core, the things that made me happy as a child, such as the freedom to do and try anything, and embracing imperfections. Eventually, this led me to painting. Now I mix these childlike elements with my fascination and love of portraiture. By combining these two opposites, surreal dreamy portraits emerge in a playful and sometimes chaotic environment.
